The Travel life plan
A 3 to 5 year bucket list roadmap. Budgeted. prioritized. built by a 40-year financial planning veteran

WHAT IT IS

Most travel agents book you one trip at a time. You call, they quote, you book, they move on.

The Travel Life Plan is different. Instead of booking one trip, we build a complete 3 to 5 year travel road map together. Every destination on your bucket list - sequenced by season, budgeted honestly, and prioritized so the trips that matter most happen first.

Think of it the way you think of a financial plan. A good financial advisor does not just tell you what to invest in today. The build a long-term strategy that accounts for your goals, your timeline, and your resources. A Travel Life Plan does exactly that - for your life experiences instead of your retirement account.

I spent 40 years building financial plans for people in banking, lending, and investments. This is the same work, applied to the best years of your life.

WHO IS IT FOR
The Travel Life Plan is designed for people who:
  • Are 55 or older and have travel on their bucket list they have not gotten to yet
  • Want to travel 2 to 3 times a year but are not sure what that realistically costs
  • Have worked with a financial advisor and want their travel spending to make sense alongside their retirement plan
  • Are tired of planning trips one at a time and want multi-year vision
  • Want to work with someone who gives honest advise, not someone chasing a commission
HOW IT WORKS - THREE STEPs

Step 1 - The Discovery Call (free, 30 minutes)
We start with a free conversation. I want to understand your bucket list, your travel history, your physical comfort level, and your general budget range. By the end of the call, we will both know whether the Travel Life Plan is right for you. No obligation. No pitch.

Step 2 - The Travel Plan Session ($495,  approximately 2 hours)
The is the core session. We go deep. We document every destination on your bucket list, assign realistic budgets, sequence them by season and priority, and build a written plan that is yours to keep. I apply $250 of the planning fee toward your first booking.

Step 3 - We Execute the Plan (Commission-based)
As you are ready to take each trip, I handle every booking. Flights, hotels, lodges, guides, transfers, cruise cabins - everything. I  earn commission from suppliers, which means my ongoing booking service costs you nothing beyond the trips themselves. I check in annually the plan as your life changes.

WHAT YOUR $495 BUYS YOU
  • A documented 3 to 5 year travel roadmap delivered as a written plan
  • Honest budgets for every trip on your list - not the lowball number, the real number
  • A seasonal calendar so Alaska summers and Florida winters works together
  • Priority sequencing so your most important trips happen first
  • $250 credit toward your first booking
  • Access to an advisor who spent 40 years in face to face customer service, enjoys client portfolio management,  experienced in financial management and planning, 12 years living in Alaska, and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and wants to be your trusted advisor.
  • Someone who gives honest authentic opinion and advise and enjoys working with his clients
A NOTE ON THE FEE
A Financial Planner charges $2,000 to $5,000 for a retirement plan. A Travel Life Plan - a documented multi-year strategy for how you spend your retirement is $495. I charge a fee because I have found that people who invest in the plan follow through on it. People who get free advise do not. This works for you as well, if you pay me a fee for service my production will be better than just you looking for free advise. You get what you pay for. I have learned this in my financial planning services. When I provided a free financial plan they went and bought the investments themselves but what hurt them is they did not have the support if something went wrong. This happens in travel as well. You need someone for when it goes wrong. If you take in consideration of "AI" to give you advise, who do you call when something goes wrong? You can not go wrong with a trusted advisor you trust and will help you when you call!
